SUBSTITUTE PLAYERS, HYBRID TEAMS & CLUB MEMBERSHIPS

Substitute Players

The Sub Pool can consist of two types of players:

  1. Players who are members of a club, but that club does not have enough players to field a team
  2. Players who are not members of clubs but would still like to stay involved in squash by subbing for other teams on an as-needed basis. These players must pay a registration fee of $20 via etransfer to: treasurer@tdwsa.com

Hybrid Teams and Club MembershipsAll TDWSA players/teams are expected to belong to a Squash Ontario member club. A player may take a regular spot on the roster of another club, outside of the one they hold a membership with, if there are not enough players at home club to form a viable team and if the club fielding the team approves. If you wish to form a team, and your club is not a member of Squash Ontario (https://www.squashontario.com/club-profiles), please contact info@tdwsa.com for next steps. It is preferred, and strongly recommended, that all players belong to a club, whenever possible. Memberships are what keep the clubs and the sport vibrant. It is assumed that players who are not members of clubs are in that position because of club closures, club proximity to home/work, or financial reasons. The TDWSA reserves the right to review player eligibility for the sub pool.
